Micronics D650 Clamp on Doppler Flow Meter

The D650 is a portable clamp on Doppler ultrasonic flow meter designed for difficult liquids that contain suspended solids or bubbles. It measures flow from outside the pipe without interrupting process conditions. The Doppler method detects the frequency shift between the transmitted ultrasonic signal and the returning signal reflected by particles or gas bubbles in the stream. This makes the D650 suitable for wastewater, sludge, aerated flow, and other challenging mediums where transit time meters cannot operate reliably.

The meter uses a rugged IP67 aluminum enclosure with a built-in rechargeable battery for portable field work. A color TFT display provides clear readout of velocity and flow rate, and the integrated 12 million point data logger supports long-term monitoring. Logging intervals and formats are configurable and data can be exported through USB-C to a flash drive. The D650 supports pipe sizes from 0.5 inch to 15 feet internal diameter and works with a wide range of pipe materials commonly found in industrial plants and utility systems.

Portable Doppler flow meter designed for non contact measurement of liquids containing solids or air bubbles.
The D650 provides portable non contact Doppler measurement for wastewater, slurries, aerated water, and other challenging fluids using an ultrasonic sensor clamped to the pipe.
