Micronics PF222 Portable Ultrasonic Clamp On Flow Meter

The PF222 is a portable clamp on ultrasonic flow meter for temporary measurements on closed pipe systems. It uses external transit time transducers to measure liquid velocity without cutting pipe or inserting any hardware into the line. The meter is supplied in a rugged carry case with clamp on sensor rails, chains and couplant so technicians can move quickly from one test point to the next. A rechargeable battery and mains supply option support field work in plant rooms, mechanical spaces and industrial areas.

Configuration is handled through a backlit graphic display and keypad with a guided Quick Start menu. The user enters pipe size, material, lining and fluid data, and the instrument calculates the correct transducer spacing and operating mode. Once installed, the PF222 displays flow rate, velocity and forward and reverse totals in a wide range of engineering units. Three isolated outputs and a configurable current loop make it suitable for checking installed meters, verifying pump performance and documenting flow conditions during system commissioning or troubleshooting.
