Micronics PF333 Portable Ultrasonic Clamp On Flow Meter

The PF333 is a portable clamp on ultrasonic flow meter designed for temporary measurements on closed pipe systems. It uses transit time ultrasonic sensing with advanced DSP processing to read liquid velocity from outside the pipe, providing non intrusive flow measurement without interrupting operation. The unit is housed in a rugged IP67 case with a backlit display, keypad and connection points for field use in mechanical and industrial environments.

The meter can display instantaneous flow rate, velocity and totalized volume in a range of engineering units. A selectable pulse or current output allows the PF333 to interface with external monitoring or building management systems. Configuration is handled through an interactive QuickStart menu where the user enters pipe size, material and fluid type, and the instrument calculates the correct transducer spacing. Site parameters can be stored in nonvolatile memory and recalled on return visits to reduce set up time.

Clamp on transducers mount directly to the outside of the pipe, allowing measurements to be taken without disturbing existing equipment or the process flow. Once installed, the PF333 provides stable flow readings suitable for system checks, commissioning work and troubleshooting in a wide range of industrial and building service applications.
