The U1000 FM is a fixed clamp on ultrasonic flow meter designed for permanent installation on closed pipe systems. It uses a transit time ultrasonic method to measure liquid flow from outside the pipe, allowing installers to add continuous flow monitoring without cutting pipe or interrupting service. The unit integrates the electronics, display and clamp on transducers into a single enclosure designed for indoor mechanical rooms and general plant environments.
Configuration is handled through the built in keypad and menu system. The installer enters pipe size, material and fluid type, and the U1000 FM automatically calculates the correct transducer spacing. Once clamped to the pipe, the instrument displays flow rate, flow velocity and totalized flow in multiple engineering units. Pulse and milliamp outputs allow the meter to interface with building management systems, pump controls and data acquisition equipment. The design provides a low maintenance, non invasive flow solution for commercial and industrial applications.
