The U1000 WM is a wall mounted version of the Micronics clamp on ultrasonic flow meter. It provides the same transit time flow measurement capability as the U1000 FM but places the display and electronics in a separate enclosure away from the pipe. The clamp on transducers remain fixed to the pipe while the main module is mounted at eye level on a nearby wall or panel. This arrangement gives technicians easier access to the display and keypad in locations where pipe runs are difficult to reach.
The wall mount configuration is used in mechanical rooms and plant spaces where regular viewing of flow data is required. The electronics housing connects to the clamp on sensors through extension cables and allows installers to combine non intrusive flow measurement with an accessible interface. Setup is handled through the built in keypad, and the unit displays flow rate, velocity and total flow in multiple engineering units. Pulse and milliamp outputs support integration with building management and control systems.
